Ada Indoor Country Club

Treat your guests to a country club golf experience in any weather at Ada Indoor Country Club, about 20 minutes from downtown Grand Rapids. The Club provides guests with a comfortable and intimate place to hit the virtual links on Golf Digest’s top-ranked Golfzon simulators. Book one, two or all three private suites for your event, and enjoy access to the full-service bar. The facility will provide all the golf clubs and seating you need, and is happy to welcome catered-in food.

Check out Ada Indoor Country Club’s Facility Rental Agreement for more information – and our Golf Year Round in Grand Rapids article for even more golf simulator party venues.

Amped Virtual Reality

With 3,000 sq. ft. of party space, incredible lighting, a great sound system and more than two dozen TVs, Amped Virtual Reality is a perfect place to host most any kind of party. You can rent one or both party rooms without having to purchase virtual reality time, but why would you – there are more than 40 single-player and multiplayer experiences available to immerse your guests in escape rooms, sports challenges, superhero adventures, ocean explorations, roller coaster rides and much, much more. The facility can host groups from 6 to 60 and will allow whatever food options you desire.

Visit Amped Virtual Reality’s Facility Rental, Corporate Events and Party Pricing pages for details.

The Aroma Labs

Give your guest the opportunity to create their own signature scents at downtown GR’s The Aroma Labs. Experienced staff lead guests through the formulation process, after which fragrances can be added to soaps, lotions, scrubs, car fresheners, room sprays, beard balms and other products. They can even provide custom-labeled bottles and tailored fragrance oil selections for additional fees and lead time. The store can comfortably accommodate up to 24 people for a private event. You can bring your own beverages but no food is allowed – the aroma would interfere with the scent-making process.

BattleGR Tactical Games & Sports

BattleGR offers mission-based challenges – laser tag, archery tag, axe throwing, gel blasters and more – that are great for parties small and large. Choose a package that includes a combination of activities plus food and drink, or customize your own affair. Great for corporate team-building, group outings, and adult and kid birthday parties. Play in the BattleGR Arena or on its volleyball/futsal/basketball/tennis courts, and enjoy pizzas, handhelds, snacks, craft beer, ciders, wines and mixed drinks in the party room.

Check out BattleGR’s Birthday and Corporate Events pages to see what’s right for you.

Big Mini Putt Club

Host your party at downtown GR’s Big Mini Putt Club and your guests will enjoy indoor mini golf, card-operated amusement games like air hockey and skee-ball, and arcade games such as Nintendo 64, Darts and Giant Jenga. The Club offers several package options for groups of 12 or more, which include beverage options ranging from drink tokens to unlimited bar service. You can bring in your own food.

Break Room Therapy

Here’s a one-of-a-kind party idea: invite your guests to get out their aggression by using bats, hammers, sledgehammers and crowbars to smash everyday objects.

As West Michigan’s only “rage room,” Break Room Therapy is a party venue unlike any other. Up to 25 people total can be accommodated in five rooms at the same time, and each room will get 15 pieces of glass to smash. Smaller groups can choose different breakable bundles. No food or drink is available on premises, but Break Room Therapy is in Byron Center, close to numerous restaurants.

Brush Studio

Get creative with your guests and schedule a private painting class at Brush Studio. Choose from a selection of designs from the large database or suggest your own painting idea for the 16x20 canvases. Parties can have up to 52 painters and can be held any time that there is not a pre-scheduled public class at the studio.

The Studio allows you to bring in your own food or catering and will have a bar open for drinks to be purchased in-house. Not only will your attendees enjoy the fun atmosphere, but they will also have their painting as a souvenir from the party! Reserve the Upper Alley for 40 people, which includes four bowling lanes with unlimited duckpin games, cocktail service, and seating; the Lower Alley, including three bowling lanes, a bar rail and cocktail area for up to 85 people, or the Full House for access to all of the above.
