West Leonard is one of three main commercial districts on Grand Rapids’ historic West Side, along with Bridge Street and West Fulton. Stretching from the western banks of the Grand River to Bristol Avenue, a distance of more than a mile and a half, West Leonard is home to some of the city’s best beverage destinations along with a diverse mix of shopping and entertainment options. A recent flurry of investment announcements makes this one of the city’s hottest revitalization zones.
Many businesses offer free parking and there is also non-metered street parking along stretches of West Leonard.
